FAQ
Questions
I voted in the last Graduates' MLC election. Do I need to apply again?
Yes. The electoral roll for this constituency is being prepared afresh, so everyone — including people enrolled earlier — must submit a new Form-18 with documents. A reference to the old roll is not accepted.
Who can enrol?
An Indian citizen who ordinarily lives in one of the nine districts and has been a graduate of a university in India (or holds an equivalent qualification) for at least three years before 1 November 2026 — that is, graduated on or before 1 November 2023.
I graduated in 2024. Can I enrol?
Not for this roll — you need three years after graduation by the qualifying date of 1 November 2026. You will be eligible in a future revision.
My degree is from a university outside Telangana. Does that matter?
A degree from any university in India counts. What matters for this constituency is where you ordinarily live.
How do I apply?
Online through the CEO Telangana website, or by submitting Form-18 with documents in person or by post to the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant ERO or designated officer for your area.
Is there any fee?
No. Enrolment as a voter is free.
How do I know my name is on the roll?
Check the draft roll when it is published (reported for 25 November 2026). If your name is missing or wrong, file a claim or objection before the deadline (reported as 10 December 2026).
Is this an official Election Commission website?
